It's also lightweight, making it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.
We love the fact that it's made of soft materials that have mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and ease of use. It's available in oak and charcoal and comes with a variety of melange fabrics that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely clicking into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure safety for babies. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number if you have any issues.
The CoZee crib has all the features you would think of in a crib for your bedside, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. In addition there is an inclined feature that can be used to assist babies with congestion or reflux. It can also be washed by a machine - a must for all the spills, vomit, and snot that come with a newborn baby!

The CoZee is an excellent choice to keep your child close during their first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it could transform into an actual bed. While it isn't able to feed your baby, or magically sleep them, it will rock them to send them off!

This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It comes with a new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's easy to use even with one hand. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.
Our testers loved the easy access the side panel provides that can be flipped up and down at the touch of the button. This was a huge benefit in feedings at night as it meant that they could reach into and take their baby away without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lowered by itself, too however, it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will stay down if it is properly attached to the mattress of the parent. This feature is fantastic to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.
Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to ease them into sleep after a meal. It's also very spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects despite the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It's also able to fold into a bag for travel, which is ideal if you want to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't flex like some of the other models, which made it a little harder to see your baby from your own bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is an excellent choice for a crib that grows with your child. It's a co-sleeping crib that can be attached securely to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and enhancing your bond with your new born.
In contrast to other cribs for bed like the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle incline helps ease reflux and colic. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby or comfort them at night.
The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to start. It took us around an hour to put together and was surprisingly simple. The only issue with the instructions was that certain images were not captioned. This made it difficult to follow. Overall, the procedure was easy and the materials used were of high quality.
